A lovely, tranquil and peaceful stay in a beautiful location. Clean and tidy facilities with everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our time at The Shepherd's Loft! Set in breath-taking scenery all around, it was great to be a part of a working farm, and to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of sheep, cattle and poultry, as well as the hedgerow birdlife. And fresh duck eggs for breakfast were available by the half-dozen at the farm gate! Yum! (They also had hen's eggs and various jams etc.) Clare warmly welcomed us on our arrival, and kindly loaned us laminated maps of the area to help us explore. Over the following three days, we also met her husband, children, and parents, all of whom were very friendly and ready to chat and answer our questions. The pitches (of which there are just 8) were nicely spaced out and within easy reach of the shower/toilet facility, and ours afforded us a sweeping view of the countryside from inside our van. For a weekend getaway or a longer stay, we say "highly recommended!!".

We stayed at the Shepherds hut in June 2023 for a night and all I can say is wow. What an absolutely amazing place. The hut was fabulous and very comfortable to sleep in (and I'm 6'1"). We spent the evening sat outside watching the sun set and then stargazed for hours surrounded by the sounds of sheep and cows in the fields. The team at the Shepherds Loft were also so helpful and friendly. Than you for making our stay so special.

Beautiful small site, outstanding views all around! We were met on arrival, by a very friendly lady. One shower and toilet in a cabin, but adequate for the size of the site, very clean. Fresh eggs from their own hens, plus home made Jam and Marmalade at the gate (put money in the tin). We stayed an extra night as we liked it so much, and we will be staying again soon!

Throughly enjoyed our visit! Owners were extremely hospitable, even took time out of their day to show the animals. Site was well maintained and clean. And a lovely setting! Loved eating my tea on the bench whilst looking at the stars. If I was to have a criticism I would be the single adjoined toilet/shower/sink/hose. Although it by no means ruined our holiday, there was sometimes a wait for the toilet and when someone is filling up the water barrel it affected the temperature and power of the shower. Only a minor problem and it was always stocked and clean, being a smaller site with 8 pitches it certainly didn’t cause much problem! We’d definitely stop again and had a great time! I’ve already advised to friends as a nice quiet site ! Thanks

Beautiful views, peaceful, enjoyed our short stay. Welcome hamper we purchased was lovely too, we enjoyed all the produce. The toilet with shower was roomy and clean. The only slight negative is, there isn't a separate toilet for when the shower is in use.

Amazing little campsite great for my during the week stay! People could not have been friendlier and the pitches are nice and level. When I was there it was pretty quiet and so there were no issues but I would imagine it could get crowded pretty quick the site is pretty small and there is only one bathroom with a shower in it so there could be a line. The bathroom is clean and roomy though! Would stay again probably just not during peak times!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this quiet little campsite. It's located in the heart of the Shropshire countryside on a working farm. The pitches are big enough for a caravan and porch awning and there is EHU. There is only one toilet which in inside a spotlessly clean shower pod. As the site only has 8 pitches this is not a problem. The owners wwere very friendly and sociable. The only negative was lack of hot water at washing up sink. Not a problem for us but maybe for those with fewer facilities of their own. Lovely peaceful step out of the rat race and well worth a visit.

Amazing small site run my Claire, based on a farm so obviously expect the noise but they have got ear defenders in the well kept bsthroom/shower room. 8 pitches in total and very nicely set out. Eggs and jam for sale at the entrance and we bought firewood which was delivered to us in 5 minutes from sending a text. Amazing site that we would definitely visit again.

A lovely small campsite with very welcoming and accommodating hosts, perfect for visiting this part of England. Clean and comfortable toilet and shower facility, don't be put off by the fact that they are combined and there is only one, it is perfectly adequate for the size of site and number of pitches. I would recommend this site.
